Hi my name is Kiz and I’m a recently “graduated” medical student who recently matched into pediatrics, a field I have been dreaming of going into for years. I put graduated in quotations because even though I walked the stage on May 28th I was not allowed to pick up my diploma the next day due to my tuition for the semester of $34850 still not being paid. My family and I have exhausted all efforts with trying to get loans, scholarships and any funding we could find to finance my final semester of medical school. I am now at risk of not becoming a doctor despite all my hard work these past few years. The school has given me till Friday June 5th to come up with a solution or I will not receive my diploma which I need in order to start residency.
