If you know me, you know Kiva. She’s my wonderful rescue pup who’s been on more adventures than most humans. I plucked her from certain death back in 2018 after stumbling onto her lifeless body. She’s been the most wonderful dog I could’ve ever imagined but right now she’s hurting. She has torn her right rear CCL or (cranial cruciate ligament, basically the ACL) and requires surgery to stabilize her knee and ensure she continues to live an active healthy life by my side. Sadly I was not expecting this massive financial blow as I enter the end of my working season for the year. Thankfully she will have the time needed to recover post surgery, paying for that surgery is a mystery I’ve yet to solve. I never thought I’d be in a position where I needed to ask for help, but alas. Here I am.
