Help Kitty Henley rest with her son, Phillip.

Hello friends and family, my name is Ginger Duhon, sister to "KITTY HENLEY'. With extreme heartache and sadness, I must inform you Kitty recently graduated to HEAVEN where she now resides with our Lord Jesus and her son Phillip.

Kitty picked Amanda and Dawson up at the airport as they returned from Dawson's graduation trip. They hugged each other, started the trip home and about 10 minutes later, Kitty told them she could not breathe and slumped over. They called paramedics and rushed Kitty to the hospital, where Amanda and Dawson spent the next week at her bedside talking to her and praying for her recovery. Kitty never regained consciousness and went home to the Lord. This move was very sudden and left us all unprepared.

Kitty lived with her daughter Amanda Henley Phillips and grandson Dawson in Arizona. As many of you know, Kitty lost her son, Phillip, several years ago. Kitty and Amanda laid Phillip to rest in Grain Valley, Missouri. Most of Kitty's family still live in this area as well. It is her wish to be laid next to her son, Phillip. It is her family's wish as well. If any of you have ever transported a loved one across country in this way, you know how expensive and emotional this process is. This is in addition to getting Amanda and Dawson back here and the funeral service in Grain Valley.

Kitty, Amanda and Dawson have been living their lives together in Arizona for several years now. Kitty's whole purpose in life has always been her children. To know Kitty Henley is to know a true ANGEL ON EARTH!!! This loss is a devasting blow to every area of Amanda and Dawson's life, emotionally, physically and financially. Amanda has also been faced with several additional emergency financial issues in the last few days and can certainly use our help.

We ask for your help as we fulfill Kitty's wish and help Amanda go forward in this changed life. Kitty's physical absence from this life leaves a void that only Jesus and time can heal.

Amanda and Dawson genuinely have a heart of gold and have always done whatever they could to help others. Your help will be a great blessing for Amanda and Dawson. We love and appreciate you! God Bless you all!
