Help my cat heal from a broken jaw due to abuse

For Derp's orthopedic surgery, an orthopedic plate and bone graft will be required to help stimulate fracture repair by providing maximum support and to try to prevent failure in the fracture repair. We don't know how long the fractures have been developing, but it seems they've been there for some time, and complications could occur or they could fail to repair. Before surgery, a blood test will be performed to see the progress of the last test. The cost for the surgery is 1,381 dollars.

It’s been stressful wondering if it is even possible to aid in healing her injuries but given the circumstances and the will to live I will do whatever it takes to give Derp a chance at the life she deserves. 

If you are able to donate even a little or share, it will help tremendously. Please keep her in your heart and send good vibes her way as she will prepare for this road to recovery. 

Update: 3/23/25 

She has a broken jaw in 2 places due to blunt force trauma. 

She will be given at home care/antibiotics to help her infection prior to having potential surgery. 

She will be hospitalized for a few days and given care for the next 8-10 weeks afterwards. 

I set a goal of 550 and am overwhelmed with gratitude for all that have pitched in to help her after experiencing such cruelty she is so loved. 

Anything that is donated after the goal will continue to be put towards her medical expenses given surgery/recovery/meds and transportation can become costly over time. I will do my best to cover whatever I am able to as well but any little bit helps.

I am currently asking for some assistance in helping my poor stray cat (derp) to get treatment for her current injury she’s obtained to her mouth due to cruelty.

I noticed Wednesday that her tongue was sticking out and reached out to a fb group asking for some advice on what to do or where to go and found a wonderful woman Liz (@dairy.valley.cats) who reached out and takes care of kitties through her own organization.

she is currently being checked out but if anyone is able to donate towards her medical bills it would be greatly appreciated.

she is currently suffering from a fractured mandible due to trauma force.

she doesn’t deserve to suffer for just existing. If you can help in any way even if it’s sharing it’s greatly appreciated.
