Help Kitty Crouse Beat Cancer
Donation protected
Family and friends, my name is Jason Justice “Most know me as JJ” and I’m currently reaching out to raise funds for my sister Kitty.
My sister was recently diagnosed with cancer, which was discovered when she was admitted to the hospital a few weeks ago due to complications with COVID. While getting seen for COVID, they performed a lung scan that revealed a lump. A biopsy was accomplished, and it was found to be something that could be treated and inflamed due to COVID; but during these scans, other areas of concern were brought to light. After a few days, the doctor diagnosed her with cancer that has unfortunately spread to her lymph nodes, adrenal glands, bones, and brain, and that aggressive immediate treatment is required to help put it into remission.
This has been difficult to accept because she is only 45 years old, turning 46 on November 18; she is far too young for this disease. She is still dealing with the aftereffects of recovering from COVID and now must deal with this terrible situation as well. My heart hurts knowing that I can't be there for her and help her in any way that I can because I'm hundreds of miles away in another state, and her closest family member is my mother, who is two to three hours away. Though we know she's in a good place in Virginia that will help her get the treatment she requires as soon as possible, it's difficult for those closest to her, to not be there for her being so far away.
My sister, like our mother, is a very strong woman who raised two boys and has worked hard her entire life. She has a big heart and is very loving and caring; she's also very witty, smart, and fun to be around; she's the life of the party, in my opinion. She has lived her life to the fullest to the best of her ability, but the fight with recovering from COVID, as well as the bout with her cancer diagnosis, have all left her weak and now sadly, jobless. She has very little money and no life insurance. My mother, her boyfriend, other family members, and my wife and I will do everything we can to help her financially, but we know that her house, car, and, most importantly, medical bills are all in jeopardy.
With this, my family and I humbly request that if you can contribute monetarily, please do so. I'm not one to ask for help like this, but with my own family, I know there's only so much I can do. My mom only brings is so much money as well and though I know she’d give every cent that she has, it would really put a strain on her during this already stressful time. We also ask for your thoughts, love, and prayers to my sis. In the end, we put our trust in the good Lord, that he will guide and comfort her during this time.
As of 14 November, she hasn’t started any treatments but hope to get her in as soon as possible. We will continue to provide updates on her as time passes.
Cancer is an unsightly disease that has taken its toll on my family, as it has on many other families around the world. We are grateful to all who have shown her love and support, as well as those who have taken the time to read this. We are grateful to all who will help to support my sis, if you are able, and all the love and prayers.
Thank you in advance for your love and support. God Bless you all!!
