Kittie Kat Rescue needs your help to cover Kitten Chef's veterinary expenses.
At just 7 weeks old, precious little kitten Chef suffered a devastating injury that could have changed his life forever. An injury of unknown origin left him with a fractured and dislocated elbow. At the time, we didn't know whether his leg could be saved, and there was a very real possibility that he would require specialist surgery or even lose the leg entirely.
Thankfully, thanks to strict crate rest and the tireless dedication of his carers, Chef has been healing remarkably well. At this stage, it is looking increasingly likely that he will avoid surgery altogether. His progress has been nothing short of amazing, and we are incredibly grateful for everyone who has helped him on his journey so far.
However, the veterinary costs associated with Chef's care have placed significant financial strain on Kittie Kat Rescue Inc. As a volunteer-run rescue organisation, KKR is already stretched beyond its limits rescuing, treating, caring for and rehoming vulnerable cats and kittens who have nowhere else to turn.
The costs of saving Chef's leg and providing the care he needs, including X-rays, ongoing veterinary treatment, vaccinations, desexing and microchipping are expected to reach up to $3,000 AUD.
Every dollar donated will go directly towards covering Chef's medical expenses and helping KKR continue its lifesaving work. Your support will give Chef the best possible chance at a full, happy and healthy life.
No donation is too small. If you're unable to contribute financially, sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, and community can make a huge difference.
Please help us give little Chef and kittens like him the future they deserve. Together, we can change his life forever!
Donate today and be part of Chef's second chance.
