On June 6th, 2026, my friend Kitrina was involved in a violent motorcycle crash near Rochester, New York, after attending the National Combat Veteran Motorcycle Association Annual meeting in Syracuse. As her driver was traveling on a three-lane highway to Niagara Falls, an elderly gentleman missed his exit and attempted to use the NO U-Turn median. He turned his jeep, boat, and boat trailer with no tail lights in front of Kitrina's motorcycle and two other bikes, all riding in a staggered right formation in the passing lane. The result was a devastating crash that left Kitrina with two broken pelvises, a broken back, a broken femur, and most of her ribs broken. She also suffered damage to her spleen and liver, requiring numerous surgeries and a long road to recovery.
