I am Brandon Adkins and setting up this GoFundMe for Kit Hamilton to help with medical and living expenses. Kit is a Navy veteran and has been dealing with a variety of medical conditions over the past few years. Kit was diagnosed with Parkinson's several years ago, and when he found out, he was already at stage 3. Kit also has COPD and other lung issues he has been dealing with. Kit had to undergo neck surgery, which required them to put a metal plate in the front side of his neck back in 2021, and ultimately had to stop working. Kit's dad became ill, and he became his caretaker until he passed. He has been struggling to cover bills and take care of medical expenses, so I gave him a part-time job 6 months ago. He started having severe stomach issues and was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer and started chemotherapy this past week and will continue over the next 6 months, preventing him from working, and medical and living expenses are stacking up.
