Yesterday, July 18, my brother Rhion was taken from us. He was only 20 years old. To his friends, he was "Luh K." To us, he was our brother. No matter how much we all

argued, laughed, or got on each other's nerves, we always believed we'd have more time.

Right now, our family is completely heartbroken. We are trying to process a loss that doesn't even feel real. The hardest part has been watching my mom, Kisha, go through this. Rhion was her first son, and the pain she is carrying is something no parent should ever have to experience.

On top of grieving, we're now facing expenses that we weren't prepared for. We need help covering Rhion's funeral and memorial costs, legal expenses as our family seeks justice, and moving costs so my mom and siblings can leave the home where this tragedy happened.

Asking for help is not easy. If our family could carry this burden alone, we would. But right now, we need support.

Rhion deserved so much more life than he got. He deserved the chance to keep growing, making memories, and becoming the man he was meant to be. Instead, we're left trying to figure out how to say goodbye.
