Help Kirt and Abi Survive Spring

Kirt and I are in serious financial trouble.   A bank error just cost us $1500 that we needed to pay bills .  

What Happened:  In February, while we were in the process of switching banks, our mortgage accidentally got charged twice; once at each bank.  This put Bank of America (BoA) deep into the negative.

On March 4th, Kirt tried to transfer $1500 from Ally, our new bank, to BoA in order to lessen that debt.  However, we were told that the charge did not go through.  Because of this, we spent the money on other necessities, with the intent of paying BoA back next month instead, possibly after clearing up why the charge failed in the first place.

However, without notifying us or asking permission, Ally tried to make the transfer again on the 14th.  Then it went through, taking money we need to pay the car, phone, internet and electric bills, not to mention groceries and sundries. 

Ally has since admitted that was a mistake and refunded us the $25 they charged us for that account briefly going negative (we didn't get paid until the 15th).  However, we cannot get back the $1500 that went to BoA.  We owe them less which is ultimately positive, but that's not much comfort right now since we can't pay our bills.

We don't have any savings.  We were already struggling with a 17k tax bill from last year, and we're still adapting to home ownership.

Any help you can offer for this would be appreciated.  

We're sorry to have to ask people for help.  It's not something either of us like to do, but we have no other recourse that we can see.
