Help Kirsty to Replace Stolen Stuff

Donation protected
I am fundraising for Kirsty Doody to help her to replace her stolen tech so she can continue in her bright and illustrious career unencumbered.

Poor old Kirst. There she was last week, sitting on the train, snuggling with her lovely little dog Addy, happy and content midst social visits and London gigs.

Then argggggghhhhh!!! Absolute bloody disaster!!! She reached for her suitcase, but realised some rat-bag had snaffled it and made off with ALL OF HER BELONGINGS, just the stop before she was due to get off at St Pancras.

This suitcase contained the tools of her trade : everything she needs to do what she does and bring joy via her vibrant singalongs and various comedy performances up and down the country. The thief got very lucky with this one.

Unfortunately, Kirsty is really unlucky. Not only is all her work and creative time and energy, intellectual property,
and planning lost - with BTP providing naught but a robotic shrug - but she was also frustratingly under-insured due to small-print blindness, so faces a hefty bill to replace the tech and costumes and so forth she needs to perform.

She is characteristically reluctant to accept help, throwing out protestations such as "there are many more worthy folk, with much less", and "I have my health, will get by, and at least my dog wasn't hurt" and other such noble sentiments.

But I maintain that the point of these thingummies is to give communities the opportunity to band together and contribute a small amount - as much or as little as they can afford, even a social media share if that is all they have to give - so that the people we love can get back up on their feet after being trampled by life's poopiness.

And I am sure that everyone who knows Kirsty, who has loved and supported her singalongs, her musical comedy, her sparkling personality and general lop-sided, gingery giddiness, will agree that there are few such worthy causes. I've known her all my life and can't think of many people more deserving.

Please help if you can.

Many thanks,

Isolde.
