Help Kirsty and Dave with medical costs

Hi Friends,
Kirsty and Dave are the kindest and most generous friends. They would give you the shirt off their backs. But they have faced numerous challenges in the last several months and need our help.
Over the winter, when isolating with covid, they lost water to the house as there was a leak in the waterline. But this was not an easy fix with 4ft of snow, the frozen ground and the water line passing under the paved driveway. But they are resilient! And they rigged up a line passing above ground to get them through until they could now dig under the driveway and make the costly permanent repair.
During this time, multiple family members have suffered some health challenges. Her parents have had trips to the hospital, and her father required brain surgery due to a rare condition.
Kirsty herself has had severe anaphylactic reactions, an ambulance trip and emergency treatment.
Their 5-year-old son had a routine tonsillectomy and afterwards suffered complications with bleeding that resulted in two hospital visits, the second visit by ambulance when he passed out from blood loss.
Kirsty is currently off on medical leave as she is unable to work due to a mystery illness that has resulted in tremoring, spasms and numbness in her right side, plus other more minor side effects.
The stress on this family has been overwhelming.
In all of this turmoil with their son being rushed to hospital, the health insurance of Dave’s mother, who lives here on a visa and so has no MSI health care, lapsed by only a few days before it was renewed. Unfortunately, a waiting period was enforced as the insurance had lapsed before being renewed. Rose suffered a major heart attack during this waiting period and was rushed to the hospital via life flight for emergency surgery to place a stent.
She went to the hospital at 8 pm, and her insurance did not start until midnight that night.
Therefore, the insurance company refuses to pay any hospital fees and considers any health issues associated with her heart as a pre-existing condition for the new policy. No other health care related to her heart will be covered.
This situation has left the family in a devastating financial situation, and they need our help!
