My name is Kirsten, and I’m a pregnant mom of five working full time to support my family. Lately, I’ve been facing a lot of challenges with my car. The doors have broken multiple times, sometimes refusing to close or open, and I’ve had to fix them about four different times. Just recently, my brakes failed, and I had to get my car towed. I’ve replaced the brakes twice in the past two months, but the problems keep coming. Two weeks before Christmas, my car started overheating so badly that I had to pull over several times just to let it cool down enough to keep driving.

Without reliable transportation, I won’t be able to get to work, and my kids won’t be able to make it to school or daycare. I travel about 40 minutes each way for work, and I need a safe vehicle to get my family where we need to go. I’m doing my best to make do, but my current car just isn’t safe or dependable anymore.
