Help Kirsten & kids in the aftermath of tragedy
Donation protected
Hi my name is Deni and I am one of Kirsten's best friends. I am setting up this fundraiser for Kirsten and her kids, Charlie (5) and Matthias (almost 7) to help with the unexpected costs of rebuilding their life, healing, counselling, repairs and unexpected bills that are starting to pile up.
In the afternoon of Septmber 27th, my dear friend was involved in a very traumatic life changing experience when she was assulted with a gun as she was trying to access the house. By act of god the kids were not with her or no one knows what may have happened. What she exlerienced that afternoon is something I wish on noone.
The physical wounds of the assault may heal but the invisible wounds will surely take a while. Charlie and Matthias lost their father that day, the man they adored and looked up to. The blow to their little minds is unfatomable and although money can not buy peace and happiness it can help them get the right help to start to heal and prepare them for a life much different than what they may have imagined.
Kirsten was a stay at home mom until a year ago when she started working part time. She has progressivelly gotten more education and has just recently started her social media business, however she has no benefits or counselling coverage at either. And a single part time income (which is now down to no income due to the events that transpired) is not sufficient to raise 2 kids on and provide the help they all need to start to heal and rebuild.
If you can donate to this cause please do, any amount is helpful. If you are not able to donate, that is ok too, please share with your network.
If you are a believer in any higher being, please say a prayer for Kirsten and her kids, for her loved ones, for Logan's peace and for the peace of his family.
Bless you!

I am beyond grateful for my supportive village!
I am back with the kiddos after seeing the surgeon in Edmonton. I would need to go back in two weeks to have all the metal removed from my wounds and I’ll be able to heal!
The good news is that the surgeon believes the muscle damage in my arm will repair itself once the metal is removed and so will the nerves hopefully so I’ll have use of my arm and hand soon!!
Thank you so much to the amazing people who’ve reached out and showed support in endless ways. I’m slowly working through my inbox in my down time but please know I appreciate you all so so so much ❤️❤️❤️ Love Kirsten
