Hi, my name is Heather, and I’m setting up this fundraiser for my dear friend Kirsten.

Kirsten is a survivor of unimaginable abuse. Over the past several months, she has endured severe domestic violence — including physical assault, bite marks, stab wounds, hair being pulled out, and even head trauma from being slammed into door frames.

The system has failed her over and over again. Despite her efforts to seek help, her abuser continues to walk free — and last night, he found her and smashed the window of her car.

She’s not safe here. And she needs to leave immediately.

Kirsten already has a plan in place: her two young daughters (both under ten) are safe and waiting for her. She has a job secured and support lined up — she just needs help getting there.

We are raising $3,000 to help cover:

U-Haul rental for a 3-day move

Tow dolly for her car

Gas, lodging, and food along the way

Emergency expenses (like window repair)

This move is her lifeline. She’s done everything in her power to survive and rebuild — but this last step requires support from others who believe in helping women get free and stay safe.

All funds go directly toward her travel and relocation. Anything extra will help her start over with dignity, reunited with her children and finally out of harm’s way.
