Help Baby Lakelynn and Family

My name is Christina Hudson, I am creating this fundraiser for my daughter Kirsten Hudson and her family. Recently my 3 month old granddaughter, Lakelynn, was diagnosed with sepsis and was transferred to Riley Childrens Hospital this past Friday. She will be undergoing her 3rd spinal tap today. If they are able to get a sample of the spinal fluid and it shows there is infection there as well, her minimum stay will be 21 days at Riley. Otherwise if the test is negative, she has to wait until her daily blood cultures are negative and then get a PICC line and a minimum 10 day stay for IV antibiotics. We have a long road ahead of us. As you also know, Lakelynn has a 4 yr old brother Carter.

Kirsten was just returning to work from maternity leave only to find her hours had been greatly cut and barely any for her since she had not had her 1 yr in to receive FMLA. She then got covid and forced to stay at home even longer. Kirsten had just been able to pick up a few hours and then Lakelynn got sick. This has taken a big financial hit to them. The bills will continue to come in and more expenses accumulate as they are forced to live away from home for however long it may need to be. Shane, Lakelynn's father is now also missing work to be there with her and Kirsten.  Kirsten has always been a hard worker, so this has made it even harder.
