Story:

Hi, my name is Kirk Ulmer. I’m a hardworking carpenter and remodeler who depends on my tools every day to make a living.

On September 10, 2025, my entire set of tools was stolen out of my truck. In one moment, I lost years’ worth of equipment and investment. Without these tools, I can’t take on jobs and support myself and my family.

Here’s just part of what was taken:

Makita cordless hammer drill

Two Makita impact drivers (cordless)

Two Makita Sawzall (cordless)

Makita cordless router

Makita cordless circular saw

Makita cordless grinder and Makita corded grinder

Japanese pull saw with extra blades

Chisels, crescent wrenches, channel locks, open-ended & ratcheting wrenches

Milwaukee PACKOUT wheeled cart & storage

Drill bit sets, Sawzall blades

Makita cordless multitool

…and too many smaller hand tools, accessories, and bits to even list.

Replacing all these tools, plus the accessories, batteries, storage, and security upgrades to prevent this from happening again, will cost about $6,000.

Every dollar raised will go directly toward purchasing these essential tools and equipment so I can get back to work as soon as possible.
