Help Kirk Keep His House

I'm Kirk Thurmond. If you don't already know me, I'm a professional musician and therefore have been particularly rocked by Covid-19.
I don't need to tell you how crazy 2020 has been. People everywhere have been rocked by world events, compounded by the things we already deal with from day to day.
My year started out with divorce and followed by the helpless uncertainty of lockdown. Things are better, but the loss of months worth of gigs has created some serious challenges towards my ability to keep my house and see my son.
My landlords are an old black couple who have been really gracious during this time, but they aren't rich. We both win and lose together when it comes to my ability to be current on rent at this time. Much like everyone else, they face a hard choice of trying to cut losses where ever they can - no matter how much they want to help.
At the very beginning of all this they were kind enough to delay 2 months rent, considering the fact that all of my gigs disappeared in about 36 hrs. I'm asking you to help raise just a portion of what is owed to them by the end of August, something that will relieve the pressure for everyone involved , and help us all avoid some very difficult choices.
