Help Kirk and His Family Through the Fight of His Life

Hi everyone, my name is Christine, and with the support of Eva’s friends and family, we are fundraising for a family who means the world to us - Eva Heaney and her brave son, Kirk.

On March 23rd, 2025, Kirk was rushed into emergency surgery for a condition called intussusception. During the operation, doctors found a lump. Weeks later, on April 14th, Eva received the news no parent is ever prepared for. Kirk was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Burkitt’s Lymphoma, a rare and aggressive cancer.

Since that day, life has changed completely for Eva, Kirk, and their family.

Kirk, who should be busy making memories and dreaming big, is now beginning the biggest fight of his young life. His treatment will be intense and long, but Kirk is strong, and he is facing it with unbelievable courage.

Eva has had no choice but to step away from work to be by Kirk’s side, all while caring for her three other children. She is trying to be everything her family needs right now — their strength, their comfort, their hope. No family should have to face this unimaginable challenge alone, and that’s why we are asking for your help.

The money raised will help cover everyday living expenses, hospital visits, bills, and anything that can ease the load during this long and difficult journey.
