Hello! My name is Brooke. I'm organizing this GFM on behalf of my mom's cat, Kira, who is in need of surgery to remove a rotting tooth. If left untreated, it could result in oral pain that would hinder her ability to eat.

I truly hate to ask for help, but my mom and I are trying to move, so we don't have $585 to spare at the moment. I'm also currently awaiting a re-determination of my disability application from Social Security. Otherwise, I'd gladly cover it myself.

Kira is an incredibly sweet, friendly, energetic, daring little kitty. We love her dearly and just want to make sure she's taken care of so she can continue to be her mischievous self.

Currently, there's no specific date set for her surgery other than we're aiming for October.
