Hi there.

My name is Kira and I'm a young aspiring screenwriter, poet and creative. My dream is to write for TV and film, and just writing generally has been my passion since I was very young. Ever since I completed my bachelor’s in 2024 I have been homeless and jobless, with very little on my CV. As such, even at the start of 2026 I still find myself homeless, with no real income and no savings. I have an unconditional offer from London Film School to do my screenwriting masters, carried over from 2025 when I couldn't cover the tuition.

Today, however, I was told I have one week to pay a £1000 deposit, to secure my place. I've waited so long for this opportunity, and now it feels like once again I'm doomed to be stuck homeless and on benefits, missing out on a chance to better myself and move forward in my life and career because of my own bad luck.

I know raising this much to pay the deposit in such a short space of time (7 days) is a tall order. But I have nowhere else to turn. Please, please donate if you can, and share this as widely as possible. Please help me finally make some progress in my life and to the next stage of my career.
