My journey as a massage therapist began out of necessity and grew into a lifelong passion for helping others. Growing up, I faced challenges that taught me resilience and creativity. In high school, I often struggled to afford meals, so I found ways to earn what I needed—first by making friendship bracelets, and then by offering massages to classmates. Whether it was football players, cheerleaders, or friends from chorus, I discovered that everyone could benefit from healing touch. This not only helped me get by, but also allowed me to connect with people from all walks of life, building friendships and a sense of community.
By the time I was 18, I was working in bars and clubs as a bartender and massage therapist, quickly gaining a reputation for my skill and strength. My experience grew as I worked with a wide range of clients, including professional athletes, entertainers, and everyday people who needed relief from pain and stress. I became known for my dedication and the positive energy I brought to every session. The greatest reward for me has always been seeing the relief and peace on my clients’ faces, knowing I’ve made a real difference in their lives.
Now, after moving to Dallas for a fresh start, I’m ready to take the next step by earning my Massage Therapy License at Healing Hands Massage Institute. Unfortunately, I can’t legally practice until I complete the program and receive my license. The funds I’m raising will cover tuition, books, licensing fees, scrubs, and essential supplies like lotions, oils, and massage table sheets. My classes begin July 14th, and I need to have everything ready before then. I’m reaching out to friends, family, and former clients—everyone who has encouraged me along the way—to help me achieve this goal. With your support, I hope to continue spreading healing and positive energy, making a difference in my new community and beyond.
