Help Kipper Heal: Support His Surgery & Recovery
I’m fundraising for my brother Sean and his girlfriend Kristin’s beloved dog, Kipper.
Kipper is a sweet and resilient 6-year-old Plott Hound-Pyrenees mix with a heart as big as his spirit. Rescued from an abusive home and a high-kill shelter in the U.S., Kipper found his forever family in Canada in 2019. Though it took time to trust, Sean’s patience and kindness helped Kipper heal. When Sean deployed to Iraq, Kipper became Kristin’s steady protector, offering comfort through every anxious night. Upon Sean’s return, Kipper greeted him with boundless joy, a testament to his unwavering loyalty.
Kipper has been by Sean’s side through life’s challenges—whether on mountain hikes or during Sean’s transition from military to civilian life. Now, Kipper is facing his toughest challenge yet. This summer, he was diagnosed with a spinal mass that required immediate surgery, costing $5,494.62, followed by an MRI at $4,247.55.
We are still waiting for the pathology report to determine if the mass is cancerous. If cancer treatment is required, costs could rise to between $11,000 and $18,000 for further surgery and radiation.
We need your help to give Kipper the second chance he deserves. Every dollar raised will go directly toward covering these medical expenses and his recovery. Whether it’s $5 or $50, every contribution makes a difference.
If you can’t donate, please consider sharing Kipper’s story to help us reach others who may be able to help.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We will keep you updated with photos, videos, and progress reports throughout Kipper’s journey. With your kindness and support, we believe Kipper can overcome this too.
