Hi, my name name is Michael Turner and I am asking for support for Kiosii (Junior) Kaibure to become a teacher in Kiribati and to support his family. I have known Kiossi (Junior) for 15 years. He is a former student of St Joseph’s College in Ferntree Gully. He is 33 years old and has four children. In 2023 his wife developed Hepatitis B and became very ill. Kiosii was unable to work as he had to look after his wife and 4 children. Sadly, in October 2023 his wife died. Kiosii had to tend to his children: Teririko 7, Tooti 6, Teiranikai 4 and Hosea 2. He had no income. He has managed to secure a teaching position at IHC school in Toborio on the island of Tarawa. He earns $250 per fortnight. He has begun a teaching Diploma which will give him a greater income. He must pay for the course and supplies, and still provide for his four children. The money raised will help him to do this and become more self sufficient. Thank you in anticipation.
