Help Kionna Get a Mobility Scooter

Hello Everyone,

My name is Kionna Mathis and I request your help with purchasing a mobility scooter.

On May 25th, I went to the ER for a wound on my foot. Unfortunately, what I thought would be a relatively quick visit turned into a two-week hospital admission due to a severe infection that developed. I had five surgeries and a transmetatarsel amputation on my left foot during my hospitalization. The same procedure that I had on my right foot in 2016.

As grateful as I am to be home, my road to full recovery has just begun. At this moment, I wear a wound vac system that helps with the healing process, but I am still unable to put any pressure on my foot. Therefore, in an effort to gain mobility and reduce that amount of back pain my mother currently experiences while pushing me in a wheelchair, I am asking for your assistance with purchasing a mobility scooter. Any amount of support you are willing to provide would be greatly appreciated.
