Hey, this is my partner Kio. She is 19 and the most kind-hearted, wonderful person I've ever met. We've been trying to plan for college and moving in together, but Kio unfortunately suffers from many medical problems that arise challenges for her and our plans.

She was recently told she would need a pleurectomy surgery. This, unfortunately, is an incredibly expensive surgery that neither my family nor hers has the funds to pay for. We both are very scared and she doesn't know what we are going to do.

I thought it would be helpful to try and set up a GoFundMe for anyone who is fortunate enough to help pay for some of these costs.
