Money will be used for out of town dr appointments (so many specialists) costs not covered by insurance and hopefully if enough money is raised I can go to The Mayo Clinic but the trip and hotel are just not possible for me now.

I'm tired of Dr's, meds and hospitals. I've been back in the hospital twice since that last stay. I now have a DVT blood clot in my left leg, had a uti, had to get 2 blood transfusions, got an infected picc line which caused a blood infection and sepsis (almost 10 years as a picc line nurse she has seen less than a handful of infections)

in addition to still being severely anemic and vitamin deficient. I can't catch a break and all of this is just killing me in every way.

Most of you know my momma has been very sick this last year and nearly died 3 times in the past 9 months. She would never ask for herself and hates to ever accept any kind of help from anyone but I'm starting a GoFundMe to try to help her out because I know she has a lot of out of pocket costs and she cannot work.

This started last December when she was life flighted and put into ICU for necrotizing pancreatitis, paralyzed bowel, multiple organ failure and severe sepsis. She has lost so much muscle, weight and energy since then and it continues to get worse. A couple of months ago, she was hospitalized with dangerously low potassium and a few weeks ago she was hospitalized again for extreme malnutrition. Her poor tiny body won't absorb any vitamins, nutrients, fats or anything else so she had to be put on TPN (total parental nutrition) that is infused through a picc line that goes to her heart to give her all that stuff she needs. When staying at the last hospital, they found a mass on her liver, some heart valve issues, malnourishment signs in her brain, her right kidney packed full of stones, uncontrollable anemia that they're trying to figure out why and what to do that will hopefully fix it for her. The swelling throughout her body is crazy and I've been so scared and worried about her because I need my momma. I want her to be able to go to The Mayo Clinic once she gets a little bit stronger and healthier and can have her liver mass biopsied. She was just hospitalized last night on 9/11/2024. She has an infection and DVT (deep vein thrombosis) as well. She has several autoimmune diseases and is dealing with so much right now so I just want to try to take some stress off her shoulders. She has always been the one to take care of everyone else and now she needs someone to help take care of her. I love my momma and I'm so proud of how our relationship has grown and transformed over the years because she is one of my best friends and I don't know what I'd do without her.
