Hi - we are Sharon Berg and Tammy McNair, grandmothers to 9-year-old Kinsley. Kinsley sustained a very serious head injury on 9/14/2024. A 220 lb tree branch fell on her while she was swinging on a swingset, pinning her to the ground for 4-5 minutes. She lost consciousness and was transported to Children’s Hospital. She was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit, and on 9/17/24 had brain surgery due to bleeding on her brain. Her mother is not able to work right now, and her stepfather is in and out of work attending to Kinsley, but also trying to balance parenting and making sure her 5 sisters get to school and also have proper care. Kinsley is now home - for which we are so grateful- and every donation helps her to have her mom care for her without the stress of having to return to work before Kinsley is ready.
