Kinsley Karas is just seven years old. She is the beloved daughter of Nichelle and Jacob, a proud big sister, and a little girl who fills every room with light, laughter, and love. Recently, Kinsley’s world, and her family’s, changed in an instant. She was diagnosed with B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, also known as ALL. In a moment, everything shifted from everyday life to hospitals, tests, procedures, chemo treatments and an uncertain road ahead. Kinsley is considered high risk due to the number of cancer cells found at the time of diagnosis. She is at the very beginning of a long and difficult fight. The next two to three years will bring intensive treatments, countless appointments, and challenges no child or family should have to face. Right now, there is no sense of normal. There is only taking things one day at a time.

As parents, Nichelle and Jacob are doing everything they can to stay strong for their little girl. Their days are now spent by her side, holding her hand through the unknown and trying to bring comfort and strength in overwhelming moments. Through it all, Kinsley continues to show incredible bravery.
