Help Kinsley Attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference in Washington, D.C.!

We’re so proud to share that Kinsley has been nominated to attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference (JrNYLC) in Washington, D.C., in June 2026! This prestigious, invitation-only program recognizes middle school students who show exceptional academic promise, maturity, and leadership potential. Kinsley’s teacher nominated her to represent Brink Junior High School, and after a lot of excitement (and a little nervousness), we’ve decided to move forward with this incredible opportunity!

During the 5 day conference, Kinsley will join other young leaders from across the country for hands-on leadership workshops, historic site visits, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences in our nation’s capital. She’ll learn directly from mentors and peers about how to make a positive impact in her community and beyond — lessons that will stay with her long after the conference ends.

We’ve chosen the commuter option, meaning one or more of us will travel with her, stay in a nearby hotel, and handle daily transportation to and from the conference.

The program tuition is $3,100, which covers her curriculum, activities, materials, local transportation, and at least one meal a day. We anticipate another $3,000 in expenses for airfare, lodging, and meals for our family during the trip.

While we don’t typically ask for monetary help, this opportunity is truly once in a lifetime for her. Several kind friends have asked how they can help, so we’re setting up this GoFundMe as a way to make that possible.

Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward making this experience possible for Kinsley. We’re deeply grateful for your love, encouragement, and support as she takes this exciting step toward her future as a young leader.
