Kinslee is a determined, responsible, and ambitious young woman who has dreamed of attending an Ivy League college and becoming an attorney since elementary school. This summer, she has the incredible opportunity to participate in a prestigious academic program hosted by Stanford Law, at their campus in California. This 10 day program is only extended to 650 students nationally and is taught by Stanford professors, focusing on mock trials to teach courtroom procedures. Not only will she receive college credits upon completion, this invaluable experience will make her college applications stand out. Kins is especially interested in family or tax law, and this program will give her the foundation she needs to pursue her passion.

We are seeking support to help cover the tuition and related costs for the program. Every contribution will go directly toward the $5,699 tuition fees, flight costs, or related program expenses. Your generosity will help open doors for Kins and give her the chance to shine in a field she’s deeply passionate about. The deadline to enroll is May 20, 2026.

If you know Kins, you know that she’s truly a gem. She’s a member of Beta Club, National Honor Society, and awardee of Pender High School’s ‘Order of the Patriot’ - a very small group handpicked by teachers, departmental heads, and the principal. She maintains a 4.0 GPA and is in the top 3 of her sophomore class.

Even still, perhaps where she shines the brightest is at home. Born to a young single Mom, she’s had to grow up with challenges but she’s never let these hardships affect her character, drive, or desire to be the best. She truly is the kindest and most ambitious teenager around, with a strict moral code that rivals most adults. She’s a Christian, strong in her love of Jesus and constantly sharing her faith with others. She’s a huge help to her Mom and 3 younger siblings, never complaining and always jumping in to help however she can. She has overcome so many adversities so far in life related to her health, from being told at 7 years old she may eventually go blind, to dealing with a recent heart diagnosis. Nothing has stopped her.
