Help Kinmon Gakuen's Japanese Education

Tax deductible
Founded in 1911, Kinmon Gakuen has been an essential part of the Japanese American community, offering Japanese language education to children and families who want to preserve their heritage. Located in the heart of San Francisco's Japantown, our school has been a bridge between Japan and the United States for over a century.

While we have recently secured grants from the city and state to renovate our school's auditorium into a community center, these funds cannot be used for school operations. Unfortunately, our operational funds have been severely depleted, and we are now facing a critical financial situation due to the decrease of the enrollment after the pandemic. Without additional support, it will be difficult for us to continue providing education.

We believe in the importance of keeping our doors open for the children who want to learn Japanese and for families who wish to pass down their cultural heritage. Even with a small number of students, we do not want to close the school.

Please consider donating to help us continue our mission and strengthen the ties between Japan and the United States.
