My name is Juniper, and I’m setting up this GoFundMe to help my good friends raise money for their little rescue dog Kinley. Kinley is such a sweet spunky girl! She loves to go hiking, go on adventures, and play with my giant puppy- she puts him in his place!

Sadly, about two weeks ago, Kinley lost feeling in her back legs and couldn’t stand. Her loving dads naturally panicked for their baby, and took her to the emergency vet. This is their story:

“Hey everyone!

Some people know, but on Sunday morning at 1am, Kinley’s back legs went limp. She collapsed. We had to bring her to the emergency vet and were there until 4am-ish.

The emergency vets believe that she has a blood clot that has turned into an embolism. This has blocked feeling to both of her back legs. She can't walk right now. She's on 4 medications. We have to cage her so she doesn't try to move too much and she travels around in a storage tote. In addition, she also can't go to the bathroom. She has to wear doggy diapers. It’s only a little awkward.

Now things were already tight, with me on the search for full-time work and Zach going to school. The bill for the emergency vet was $1200. On top of this, we will be bringing her to our vets on Wednesday for further care.

Kinley has made some progress since then but still cannot walk. Funds will be going to her vet bills, medication, and care. She may need a special carrier or mobility devices, but for now I am setting the goal to cover vet and care.

This pup is so important to her dads and her community. We just want to help her live the best life and give her the care she needs!
