King Kong was surrendered when he was 6, and after 3+ months at the shelter, found his forever home. He is now a local legend in East Boston's Eagle Hill, known by all of his neighbors as the Mayor of Eagle Hill. King is a goofy, gentle giant who has a stage 1 mast cell tumor on his side. It is very important he undergo surgery to remove the tumor and ensure it does not spread to other parts of his body. At 10 years old, our local legend has many more years of adventures.
His mom (me!) unfortunately lost her salaried job 1.5 years ago. She is actively applying and interviewing for her next full-time role while working several part-time jobs. But the jobs don't pay enough to survive, let alone the $900 of diagnostic lab work, ~$3,000 for surgery, and post-op biopsy.
Any support is greatly appreciated. Donors will have the option to receive either a physical postcard or an electronic thank-you with one of the many funny photos of King.
(always with his neighbors!)
