Help 'KIN' Crew Make Their NYC Theater Debut

Our original play "KIN" has been selected for the NY Theatre Festival! It's an opportunity of a lifetime and we need help putting this production together. Crew, director, producer & actors are giving everything to make it happen, any help at all would be a true blessing. Thank you!

For over 30 years, Lawrence Bergman has been writing and chasing a dream to expand his professional writing career. Over the last 5 years, Lawrence has entered over 25 competitions, and has won over a dozen writing awards in various contests.

Lawrence Bergman and Gil Edwards teamed up as co-creative writing collaborators on "KIN" a one-act theatrical play about a broken family who are forced to confront their personal and political differences during a raging storm. The play showcases the internal and external forces that can tear families apart. It’s a topical story that highlights the divisiveness so many of us live in today.

"KIN" has now been invited to compete in the NY Theater Festival... which requires us to produce the play, ON STAGE for 3 performances at the Hudson Guild Theater in NYC. Details to follow on how you'll be able to buy tickets to the show in mid-July. To make this a reality we need to raise funds to help with production costs; including rehearsal space, technical production costs, fees and more.

This is an incredible opportunity and the first time that a script has been brought to production for this creative team, a truly monumental moment - but we can't pull this off without your financial support.
