I am organizing this fundraiser for my best friend, Kim Gomez's family.

Kim is the director of the Dreamer Resource Center at Sacramento State University, she dedicates her life to making sure undocumented and mixed-status students cross the stage with their diplomas in hand.

It breaks my heart to say that her family has been separated due to immigration enforcement kidnapping her Tio Manolo while he was hard at work. I had the privilege of meeting her Tio this past year. He is full of light, a very funny man, and I could tell immediately that he loves his family. He is currently being held in a detention center suffering inhuman conditions and we want to get him released as soon as possible. Due to the situation, Kim and other family members are having to take time off of work to navigate this impossible situation.

Donating would relieve her of having to worry about her finances during this difficult time. Apart from her own living expenses, other family members depending on her financially as well. If you have the capacity please help me support my dear friend, any amount is appreciated.
