My name is Kim Wheeler, and I’m asking for help for myself, my boyfriend, and my two boys, Thomas (23) and Anthony (28). Our family is trying to recover after losing nearly everything in this disaster. We lost almost everything we own due to a major flood from the Kona Low storm. My boys almost drowned, and our neighbor saved them. Our home and belongings were destroyed, and my work truck was also damaged. This fundraiser is to help us rebuild from the ground up. We are working to replace essential items, restore some sense of normalcy, and most importantly repair or replace my truck. My truck isn’t just transportation, it’s how I get to work every day and support my family. Without it, getting back on our feet becomes even harder. We’re not asking for luxury, just the chance to rebuild what was lost and keep moving forward.
