Hello everyone,

My names Alivia and I’m raising money for my mom Kim.

On Monday 11/10 mom had a horrific fall in her garage which resulted in her hitting her head against a stereo which then fractured the right side of her skull. Upon arriving to the hospital, she was then flown out to a more advanced medical facility where she is being kept in the triage unit for better monitoring.

When mom fell she fell so abruptly on her right side that the impact from her skull hitting not only the stereo but the ground, catapulted her brain to the left side which resulted in a traumatic brain injury. This has left the cognitive side of her brain battered and bruised and nonfunctioning. She is currently language impaired and not coherent enough to understand who anybody is.

Myself and my sister Casey have been on the phone with several nurses and her Dr where we have been informed that mom is also suffering from a Hemorrhagic bleed. We were told her recovery is a very crucial and long road as she will never regain her normal speech like before but there is hope that she can recover some with intense exercises and help from a rehabilitation home. During this time in the hospital she is being closely monitored by all the staff there but myself and Casey want to be there with her even if she doesn’t quite recognize us. We need to be there for our mom.

This gofundme will strictly help myself and Casey get ourselves out there. With Kc being a mom she’s unable to stay long periods of time so she will constantly have to go back and fourth round trip. I myself am not able to stay long periods of time due to my job but will schedule frequent trips out there as much as I can.

Any and all funds will go towards us being able to purchase plane tickets and rental cars, cover hotel fees, and help take care of any and all medical bills that come our moms way.

I am absolutely heart broken and it’s taking a lot for me to stay as strong as I am. This tragedy has hit us very suddenly and all we want to do is go see our mom and bring her home. I appreciate all the shares and reads. Even if it’s just keeping our mom in your prayers that is enough.
