For those who don’t know them, Kimberly (my younger sister) and Paddy (her fiancé) are two of the most loving, kind-hearted, selfless and downright amazing people that I know. Their love for those around them and for each other is both undeniable and inspiring. Recently engaged and with a wedding date locked down, the happy couple are in the beginning stages of planning the happiest day of their lives together.
Unfortunately, in the midst of all this positivity, and while they were out of the country in Ireland (November 7th, 2019), the couple got word that their apartment building located in Bloomfield, NJ was on fire.

Kimberly and Paddy have not even been living in their apartment - which they have finally made a home - a year when they received this devastating news.

The fire, that started on the top floor of the building -directly above their place- left their apartment just about completely destroyed. Since November 7th and since the fire department deemed their residence as unsafe to reenter, the couple hasn’t even been able to step foot in their place and have been forced to stay elsewhere.
One fortunate thing about this terrible situation is that, luckily, the couple did have renter’s insurance. And, although that is extremely helpful; it doesn’t provide nearly enough for the abrupt move that they are having to make.
Let’s help them move past this and get back on their feet!
I am, from the bottom of my heart grateful and thankful for all of you; thank you in advance for your help in all this.
