I created this GoFundMe to raise funds so my cat, Kimbo, can see the vet for his eye and to get an MRI for his seizures.

About two weeks ago, I took Kimbo to the vet because he had a very bad cough, his right eye was swollen, and he had been having severe seizures that were terrifying to watch. Thankfully, the vet offered a free first-time checkup . After examining him, they diagnosed Kimbo with a serious upper respiratory infection. He was given a shot that thankfully cleared up his illness, and I was told to give him Terramycin for his eye.

Unfortunately, the Terramycin hasn’t been working. As everyone has seen in the videos and pictures I posted, his eye has actually gotten worse, and the swelling has not gone down. On top of that, Kimbo continues to have seizures. The vet explained that the underlying cause can’t truly be determined without an MRI.

The problem is, an MRI alone costs around $2,500-$4000, not including the exam fees or any treatment that may follow. I simply don’t have the funds to cover this next step in his care.

I’m asking for your help so Kimbo can get the MRI he desperately needs to figure out why he’s having seizures and what’s causing his eye to worsen.
