My cousin was recently involved in a devastating car accident that forever changed the course of her life. The crash left her with a severe spinal injury, and she had to undergo an emergency spinal surgery just to survive. It is nothing short of a miracle that she is still with us today, and for that, we are endlessly grateful.

But while her life was spared, her journey is only beginning. She now faces a long and difficult road to recovery filled with pain, rehabilitation, and uncertainty. She will not only be unable to work during this time, but she will also be forced to put her education on hold and miss school a dream she’s been working so hard toward.
