Help Kimberlyn Fight Cancer

My SNL Kimberlyn Stone was diagnosed Friday with colorectal cancer. She and my brother Clay live in Irving, Texas. They have a beautiful family that includes 4 children and one granddaughter. Kimberlyn was finally getting to pursue a lifelong dream of becoming a cosmetologist. She was busy juggling work, school, church and family when they got this news Friday afternoon. Their life was changed with one tiny word... cancer. 

I set up this campaign because for all of you that know Clay or Kimberlyn, you know that they are always willing to help others in any way they can. They are about to start a very hard journey and with them not being close to family, it’s going to be difficult. Not only will Kimberlyn undergo extensive surgery with extended heal time, she will also require chemo and radiation. They do not know at this point if she will be able to return to work during treatment. Her husband, my sweet brother, will be a sole breadwinner for their family during this time. Cancer does not only effect one person, it will alter all of their lives during this time. My goal and my prayers is that each of you who know Clay and Kimberlyn will be willing to help out just a little, to make the stress of losing an income, while still caring for a family, little easier. I know that it will require days off work for Clay not to mention, co-pays and travel to and from doctors appointments.

I appreciate each and every person who can contribute monetarily, but more than anything, I ask that you pray, please pray for calmness during this storm for all of them, pray for God’s guidance as doctors make decisions, pray for provisions to see this family thru, but more than anything, I know they would want you to pray that God will get all the glory in this situation and that if just one person comes to know God thru this trial, it will be worth it all. I am also going to ask that you pray for their extended family, we are hurting for them and being so far away during these times is very hard. We are thankful for anything you can do, but we beg you to pray that God will lead and his will be done.
