Help Kimberly through a difficult time

UPDATE -

Kimberly is out of the hospital and resting at home. She is doing Cardiac Rehibilitation and is working on getting back to her normal self. 

She would like to thank everyone for their support and well wishes.

Hello SRG staff,

 

I wanted to reach out to you as I have worked with an incredible person on the night shift. Kimberly is a hard worker, kind and caring person. She is currently in the hospital and is diagnosed with SCAD, Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection. She said to me, "Imagine a relatively strong 41 year old, independent women reduced to bawling in pain and trying to get out of bed to walk off her pain while having severe chest, shoulder and arm pain." She should be relaxing but she is stressing about money, paying her bills and Christmas for her family.

 

On top of this, her husband went into Cardiac Arrest this past September and she has been his caregiver and financial supporter for the family. Now that she can not do that, her children are taking over all of the responsibilities. She has a 12,13 and 20 year old at home.

 

I know we are all going through a lot this year, with Covid at work and in our personal lives, most of us losing our jobs and the cost of living going up. If you think that you can give anything to help this family out, it would be so much appreciated.
