My name is Kimberly Rogers owner of Kimmies Kitchin. Monday July 8th 2024 a City of Oakland Tree that was scheduled for removal in November 2023 fell onto my family and I were barbecuing and playing dominoes under a canopy tent in my front yard injuring me and damaging my outdoor cooking canopy, flattop grill, and several tables and chairs. I have made reports with the city of Oakland and filed a claim with the city Attorney’s Office but that is a process. I cook and vendor outside everyday for a living and my setup is ruined. I’m asking for some help to replace my outdoor setup. I have events in the next two days and I desperately need help. Anything will be greatly appreciated!!
