2026 UPDATE:

I have significantly lowered my goal amount to help get my business off the ground! After all of your much appreciated donations last year, and using the 2 giftcards I got for my birthday to pay for my website and domain name, I am only $95.00 away from being able to open my brand new Nutrition Business! I scrimped and saved and purchased the best of all the deals I could find… I even learned how to built my website from scratch instead of paying someone to do it for me~ and wow, has that ever turned out to be quite a huge project!!! But I’m actually having a fun time working on it manually and have learned so much!!! Thank you SO MUCH to all of you who already helped me out by donating… I will never forget your kindness, generosity, and most of all your faith in me!!!! If anyone is able to help me with this last $95.00, you will help my dream of FINALLY getting my new business running and open for business!!!!! I will be able to finally make a living again! Dear Family & Friends,

I am in dire need of your help. I’m not good at asking for help; I don’t do it often.

Today is my 56th birthday, but I’m not asking for presents. I’m not asking for you to GoFund a vacation or a new car, nor am I asking for donations to my favorite organization (Bears & Wildlife!).

Nope. Today, I’m asking for you to help me get my life back. Literally.

I desperately need to get back to work.

Long story short: Due to disability and the horrible after-effects of COVID, I have been unable to work since 2019. State disability has not yet approved me for disability, and dealing with them has been a nightmare. I have no job, no car, no money for rent, no money for good health insurance and I’m so tired of living this way. I don’t even want to depend on disability! I’d rather work!

I may be too disabled to ever work in the medical field as a hands-on Nurse again, but I have years and years of medical experience, nutrition education & certifications, and I even obtained my Holistic Health Practitioner license a few years back. I really wanted to branch out in the medical field and open my own Nutrition business, but due to COVID almost killing me and all of the brain fog and physical issues it caused aside from my usual disability of Fibromyalgia, I just completely gave up on the idea of running a business.

Over the past year, my doctor and I have switched around some medications and tried a few new things, and my brain fog seems to have gone away, although the rest of my disabilities remain. I feel that, as long as my head is clear, I can definitely run a business from the comfort of home, which I need, due to the intense and unpredictable pain from Fibromyalgia. I am beyond tired and fed up waiting to be approved for disability.

I have silently been working on writing material and content for my new business, which I have named “Nutritious Elements.”

I will be an online-only nutrition writer, coach, and educator. I haven’t told anyone about this until today! I’ve been working on this diligently since March of this year, and haven’t told a soul, just in case I failed.

I even created my very own website, and you guys are the first to see it! I can’t load any of my content onto it until I upgrade my website membership to an

E-Commerce site, so I can sell my product. But you can definitely go into the website and navigate around, to see what I’ve created.

This the only way I can get myself back to working and earning a living, but I can’t do it on my own. I don’t want handouts for the rest of my life~ I just want to work!!! I need to feel like a contributing member of society again, a successful human being able to pay bills and buy a car for myself. I never thought I’d ever end up in this situation, but here I am. It’s depressing and degrading.

But I’m at rock bottom (no, I don’t do drugs or drink alcohol) and I really need a hand up to get back on my feet.

I have a plan (my online business) and this is what I need in order to bring it all to fruition. I’ve added up the MINIMUM costs to start up my business, which includes the items that I have to have before I can start. The rest I can purchase later, when I have paying clients. (I’ll post an itemized list below in the comments section).

Will you please consider helping me make my dream come true to get my life back on track and start a business that I can actually participate in and thrive in? I would be forever grateful for any and all help I receive! You all have no idea how much this would mean to me. I don’t want to be stuck in this dark, black hole anymore.
