Hi, my name is Kimberly, and I never thought I’d be in a place where I’d need to ask for help like this. Life has hit me harder than I could have ever imagined. I recently lost my job, and just a short time later, I lost my beautiful mom to cancer after she fought for so long, being in and out of the hospitals.

My mom was the strongest, funniest, most loving woman I knew. She was my rock, and losing her has left a hole in my heart. Now, while grieving her loss, I’m also trying to hold everything together for my daughter, who is a senior in high school. She deserves stability and love during this important time in her life, but I feel like I’m drowning trying to keep up with bills and make sure I can even travel to bury my mom and say goodbye properly.

I’m asking for help to cover:

Flights and travel costs to lay my mom to rest

Household bills so my daughter and I can stay afloat

Basic living expenses as I get back on my feet

This has been the hardest chapter of my life, and it’s humbling to reach out and ask for help. But any support — whether it’s a donation, a share, or even a prayer — will mean the world to me and my daughter.
