I am a single mother with two children at home, living off disability and child support. Right now, I’m struggling to keep up with my rent, which is due on December 18th. I already have some money set aside, but I’m still short and worried about how I’ll make up the rest. On top of that, my car’s heat has gone out, and I rely on pay-as-you-go lights and gas, which can be difficult to keep up with. It’s been really hard to keep everything paid, especially during the winter months.

This year has been especially tough. I have a heart condition and back problems, and I’m currently waiting on Section 8 housing and reapplying for SNAP. I do my best to provide for my kids, but sometimes it feels like I’m always struggling to stay afloat. I’m scared of being told to move in the middle of winter, right around Christmas, and I just want to keep a safe, warm home for my children.

I would be so grateful and blessed for any help you can give.
