I lost my vehicle because it was simply too old and in bad shape to repair. It was originally given to me by a friend, but I couldn’t afford to put any more money into it. Without a car, I feel trapped in my apartment and unable to do the things I need to get my life back together. I recently lost my mother, whom I cared for by myself for almost two years. She was my best friend, and her passing left me struggling with depression. After everything, I’m just now starting to come out of it, but without a vehicle, I can’t get a job or even take my dog to the vet when he’s ill. There’s no public transportation where I live, and taxi costs are just too high for me to afford. I can’t even afford a computer to look for work online, so my hands are tied. Having a reliable vehicle would mean everything—it would help me find work, care for my dog, and regain my independence. I’m grateful for any support and hope that, with help from the community, I can rebuild my life and move forward after this difficult period. Thank you for reading my story and considering a donation. Your kindness could truly change my life.
