Hello I'm Kimberly, an Indigenous single mom, survivor, and student working hard to build a safe future for my children. I've dedicated my life to helping others as a healthcare worker and student. Now I'm asking for help to provide stability and safety for my kids as we rebuild our lives.
Before COVID, I worked in a Trauma Intensive Care Unit, dedicating myself to helping others. After having my son, I chose to resign from my position and pursue higher education. I earned an Associates Degree in Healthcare Management and was accepted into the University of Arizona to purse a Bachelor's Degree in American Indian Studies. My dream is to advocate for and uplift my Indigenous community.
My Journey has not been easy. I survived domestic violence that nearly cost me my life, and I've since left that situation to build a safe and stable home for my children. I am now their primary parent, raising them on my own while managing all of life's expenses on a fixed income.
I am asking for your support to help us get back on a solid ground. The funds raised will go toward vehicle maintenance, rent and preparing for the upcoming school year. With your help, I can create stability for my children and focus on building a brighter future for us.
Any contribution, no matter the size, means the world to us. Thank you for standing with me and my children as we rebuild our lives. With your support, we can move forward in safety, hope and strength.
