Help Kimber fight Stage III Melanoma

Melanoma is the deadliest form of skin cancer- the statistics don’t lie. One person dies every 50 minutes per Wikipedia.
Hi, my name is Lauren but my friends call me Switz. My dear friend, pictured above with 3 of her 4 children, was diagnosed with melanoma.
She has asked to refrain from citing her name due to the pain this will bring her children. Although her older daughters are aware of her status, she has an 8 year old son who is not aware. It’s almost Christmas and she would rather he enjoys the holidays. The love of a mother protecting her children!
For the past 2 months, she has been getting immunotherapy treatments called Keytruda.
To understand more about what she has being dealing with- go to:
Her sacrifices have been unimaginable. She works in my office and has been working over 50 hours a week while getting these infusions- she shows up everyday no matter how bad she feels. She has come to work with migraines, vomiting, exhausted but still with a smile on her face!

The cancer first made its appearance on her lips. The Keytruda has shown improvement but unfortunately, 2 weeks ago the lymph nodes in her neck began swelling. Her Doctor ordered a sentinel lymph node biopsy.

The results- the cancer has spread to the surrounding lymph nodes. Following the surgery, she had a CAT scan which revealed that another surgery is immediately necessary. It has been scheduled to remove 15 more lymph nodes on December 21, 2021.
The costs of the treatment, the upcoming surgery, the medication she will need to take after surgery (Opdivo) to prolong her life as well as general living expenses, have overburdened our friend. Asking for help has been one of the hardest parts of the difficult time for her. So I am asking for her! No donation is too small as every dollar will help! The funds will go immediately to her out of pocket max required to be paid before surgery. She will not be able to work for a few weeks afterwards so prayers are essential! She is in recovery and cannot take pain medicine safely. Volunteers to help with meals, transportation to and from hospital and dr visits as well aa loving companionship during the healing process are greatly welcome!
